The process took 4 months during which time we had to extend our rate lock, which cost us money. And we were expecting to have a two month window between paying our previous bank and making our first payment to MOH, which would have allowed us to pay off other debt, but that didn’t happen. Finally, it took two weeks between the time we closed to when the loan was actually funded—and we still don’t have signed copies of our paperwork, which we’ve requested.

The process took many months and the refinance fees are very high. Many of the estimated total payment calculations were not correct. I had a hard time calculating my cost of prepayment of my existing mortgage that I had months pre paid. The process to find my money saving plan was a challenge. In the end, I did get a good rate that will save me significant money. I am happy with the end result. Adam was always helpful and honest. His openness effort kept the process alive for me.
