. The guy checked my attic and said we needed to add up to 10' of fiberglass insulation over the whole attic and would charge us for $2500. My husband did not agree with his recommendation because my house was built in 2008. I hired another company that offer free estimation and found that one of bedrooms had no insulation and showed me that picture. So we added cellulose for ONLY one bedroom for only $200. EVERYTHING is perfectly warm now. So I don't recommend to use the original company, ADELPHIA EXTERIORS.

We were not satisfied at all Surveyed our attic. We bought the special for $49.00 that was supposed to give us a plan and an estimate to insulate our attic plus $500.00 credit towards the cost of the job to insulate the attic. Basically Adelphia Exteriors said they could seal some joints and blow in some insulation, but that it wouldn't be worth their time to do our house. We purchased a deal for $500 of blown insulation for $149. We were not aware that Adelphia will not just blow in $500 of insulation. They will only do a full attic insulation with a minimum of 6 inches of insulation. When your attic is over 1,200 square feet this turns the $149 deal into a lot larger price. The deal was clearly a "bait and switch". Now I must work with Angie's list to try to get the $149 back. We did not have anything done. The deal I purchased was very mis-leading.

The estimator seemed to be in a hurry to leave, and I had to pin him down to talk about what he proposed to do about keeping moisture from entering the living space of my home and about what should be done to address moisture that was seeping through the cinderblock walls after heavy rains. I don't like the idea that one person came into evaluate and another person came to do the insulation. They did not leave any invoice or statement. I received a bill one month later for $904 it is not very descriptive and it does not indicate that I purchased the Big Deal. It was unsatisfactory, very unprofessional. They may have efficiently done the job but they were inefficient about the paperwork following up. I purchased the Big Deal$99 for $500 Worth of Blown-In Environmentally Safe Attic Insulation

terrible. I found George very obnoxious and deeming to the point he laughed at me. I will be asking for my money credit back. Sales rep. came over 1-hour late w / no apologies. $99 for this deal is a shame. They pull you in on $99 for insulation with anitcipation for the big up sell project. A big disappointment. $99 gets you little insulation.
