Dr Woody is awful! No accommodations, no compassion! Do not take your special needs or sensory kids here for sure!
The entire staff we interacted with were excellent with my kids. I couldn't have asked anything more of them. Their skill was as equally impressive. My daughter was very nervous about getting her cavity filled and she did not feel the numbing. I felt like they knew exactly what they were doing and we were in good hands and you could say I can be on the vigilant/particular side.
The hygienist is amazing! We loved her! The new orthodontist is not very personable. She did not give me any eye contact or tell me what was going on with my daughter. She did not speak to my child at all. Working in pediatrics, it would seem like she should have more interaction with children. She seemed like she did not enjoy her job at all. I am praying that we are making the right choice by staying there! But the Hygienist, she was so worth us being there!!!!!
After Dr. Ramos this office will no longer be my kids dentist. Try to give it two chances for the new dentist but absolutely do not recommend. Personally and from a dental assistant I wouldn’t trust the doctor with my kids. If they ever get a new doctor maybe. The staff is great and over all I thought was the best office yet in tri cities but once again I’ll be looking for a new office!
I'm here to edit my previous review. We have since left Advanced Pediatric Dentistry and my children have needed a lot of damage undone. Quite a few poorly done fillings have been replaced, unconscionable bad advice about my son's extremely crowded mouth and high palate issues have thankfully been given a second opinion and treatment options, rather than doing nothing and waiting like Advanced advised us, and, most notably, my eldest child is now received a complete do-over of her orthodontia.
