The nursing staff is an absolute joke. They neglect their patients and let them go hours without care. I personally witnessed a patient in a wheelchair asking to be moved back into her room and the nurses were hiding behind their computer ignoring her! She had to throw her helmet on the ground to get any attention, which was still ignored. Worst part. As my aunt was asking the nurse to give my grandfather his medication, the nurse turned and said I'm off, pointed at another nurse, then rudely said go ask her. My aunt said it... read more

My brother was incarcerated at Alaska Gardens on 12/25/2024. Brother lasted only 15 days and died. When we visited him, he said you need to get me out of here. His roommate Mathew also did not enjoy the care and took us to remove him from this place. Alaska Gardens did not care about my brother and did the bare minimum. There Neglect causes him to die. Also, since 1/8/25 we have not received any call from Alaska Gardens about our brother death. Response on Google Review Was: **Response from the owner CAN Message to c... read more

Around 2:30pm 11/13/24 the family visited grandma Vicki and she was fine eating talking walking etc skip fwd to 8 when the call was made she passed, upon getting there they said at 7:30pm she was fine but timed her time of death at 7:50 the nurse said she went to give her something & found her unresponsive. The workers then tried to have the family put out by the police because they felt threatened because the family had questions and concerns being asked, which didn't work,... read more

I was in there for 7 months. I'm a type 1 diabetic and at night when my blood sugar went low, I would push my button and no nurses would come. I was confined to a wheelchair and they often pushed my chair out of reach so I couldn't even go to the bathroom. I had to worry about other patients coming into my room and taking things. One time a gal with dementia came in and I had to stop her. she was fighting to come in as I held the door closed. She got a bruise and the nursed said that I must have hit her. I didn't nothing b... read more

Our son was at Alaska Gardens for almost a year. He was not given the care they were instructed to give. Even though he was given, in writing, his health care plan, it was not followed as instructed. When a catheter is not regularly cleaned, infections will occur. He was in and out of the hospital with urinary tract infections. He also had Sepsis. Showers were almost non existent, and he laid in a dirty diaper several hours before he was cleaned. They would not follow the bowel program. They failed to give him rehab, a... read more

I have a best friend currently in your facility and I'm not happy with the way her care has been going. Rude night nurse and her NEW ROBE I dropped off is missing. I am aware for my friend and this is not okay. There is a rude African female nurse at night who is doing her wrong and trying to scare her.. the CNA/ health workers name is Malis Rey I was told and works for a third party company. She needs to be removed and investigated. I will be contacting whomever needed to insure patients safety at this facility
