Everything was great but the bathrooms smelled horrible. It hit you as soon as you walked in. Plumbing issues?
We went here for dinner last night had the snapper. Others had the prime rib. Both were good
We decided to give this place another try after our debacle back in August. We made a reservation for 7 PM and were seated immediately when we arrived. The hostess was pleasant & helpful. Our table was much better than the 2 top in the bar area we had last time. We ordered a bottle of wine, salads & our entrees. They brought the wine right away & then brought our salads. We totally enjoyed the atmosphere and each had a different entree. All raved about theirs. I had the snapper and asked it not to be blackened and they were very accommodating. We all enjoyed our dinner
This restaurant is convenient for those staying at Palmetto Dunes but the food and experience is very average, so I would encourage you to get in an Uber and go to somewhere better. Taco and green tomato appetizers were yummy. The appetizer radicchio salads were almost inedible...offputting dressing, too much cheese, one had apples the other didn't...so inconsistent. Had a lovely dinner tonight at Alexander's. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and the shrimp and grits. Michelle our server was fantastic. They also support local artists by exhibiting their work which you can purchase. Be sure to make a reservation because it is popular and busy!
This was our second visit. Alexander's will always be a top of list when visiting Hilton Head. Food and service are consistently superb!
We've eaten here a few times - you need to make a reservation well in advance. We made reservations for their early bird set menus for $25 with $6 wine selections and full-priced desserts. The lower-end wine selections can be sold out; the mixed drinks are top notch. Their crab soup was wonderful as well as their shrimp & grits and peanut butter and key lime pies. I made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday. I had no idea of the above 5 star service we would have! The hostess was warm and welcoming as if she knew us. The staff was beyond perfection. The FOOD!!!! We had a testing birthday menu prepared for us. I was blown away by the service. 10 out of 10 all around! Oh...the view....I can't forget that. Amazing.
