Food, service, and drinks were fantastic!! View was beautiful! Definitely recommend the shrimp and grits
Very big portions, the view is nice. Our server was super busy like she was the only one inside. We were a small table and she was running around with several needy large tables, it seemed like we got a little forgotten on drinks. But the food made up for it. Updating review. Food is still great, (crab soup excellent , though not hot) -- however, we were seated in the bar area, and it was so loud (there were men at the bar nearly screaming) we could not hear each other sitting next to each other! There were other couples also seated in the bar room too for dinner. Nothing was done to tone down the men at the bar. So. Beware of your seating! It seems unfortunate to have dinner tables in the bar area. It's a bar, people can get loud - why put people there for dinner? Really poor ch... read more
Sat us in the bar area. Fine dining prices in a loud bar atmosphere. Service focus was on the bar crowd. Loud and people dining are an afterthought.
Second visit here. First time was better. Again service was bad. They need training here desperately. This could be a great place if they'd invest a bit more.
We went to Alexander's just yesterday for dinner. It was very good. Service was excellent. Place settings very nice. Food arrived quickly and everyone enjoyed what they got. They actually seem to care about details. We've been going to Alexanders for many years and will likely continue going.
Great food, impeccable service and a beautiful view. I highly recommend! One of the best meals we had in Hilton Head.
This is some of the most overpriced food you will ever find. Don't mind paying $44 for a filet if it is tender and not chewy. Don't mind paying $35 for blackened snapper if it tastes good and doesn't smell like dirty diapers. Please Alexander's get rid of the Snapper dish, it's really really bad. I will say the Crab soup was good. None of the entrees at our table were yummy. I have always been impressed by the quality of food at Alexander's . I had a steak and it was delicious as always . The service is excellent and I feel like the prices are fair for fine dining. I will be back !
