I have visited Alexanders for 35 years and thru several owners has stayed one of the Islands best restaurants. Their "Early bird" choices are top notch, ie: She Crab Soup, Prime Rib and so on. I always visit Alexanders when I visit Hilton Head!
Food and service were excellent. Only one gripe and an easy fix. We were dining at sunset and the sun was blasting thru the window. We were told the shades are fixed and cannot be lowered. There were no other tables available to move to on the patio area. They did crank up the a/c to cool things down.
