The crab soup was very rich and over salted.
This is one of our favorite spots on the Island. Enjoy their early bird fare
We enjoyed our early dining meal, my wife and I both ordered the daily catch and the delicious soup da jour. Nice portion size and a good value. We split the daily special dessert - a great bread pudding - large enough for two.
Restaurant week. One in party ordered rare prime rib. Brought out closer to medium. Server should have informed that rare was not available. Sent prime rib back to kitchen. Chef prepared rib eye and brought to table. Manager checked in as well. Rest of party had eaten then waited while the person with rib eye ate. Not the way to have a good dinner out. Needs inform customer when a particular cut of prime rib is no longer available.
Food is always above expectations. Creative chef. Very pleasant dining experience. One of my favorites on the island.
We made reservations for restaurant week and really enjoyed our meal and first experience with Alexander’s. Our table was ready, service was excellent- maybe a bit too fast, but no complaints. The special menu had a good variety of choices and excellent price. Wish they included a special on wine too! Parking was available without waiting. Excellent fish dish, soup and dessert!
