We have come to Alexander’s the past two years while vacationing in HHI, and we love it. Everything from the cocktails to the food to the service is excellent.

Great restaurant for date night. Enjoyed the bar before dinner and service is excellent. The food was over salted this evening however tasty. We have eaten here many times and will again. This was the first time we were not totally satisfied with the meal.
This is are favorite restaurant with this being an exception. The daily entre missed the mark. I found it bland especially the crusted potato item. My partners plate vegies were undercooked - not yielding to being cut.

We took our friends who were visiting us from DC. Every dish we had was terrific! The crab cakes were superb, the fresh local fish, a species of drum, was great, the weiner schnitzel, the shrimp and grits outstanding. Donna was our server and was exceptionally knowledgable about the ingredients and the preparation of the food and was super. We shared a very nice bottle of Pinot Noir from the excellent wine list. Food very good; good value for money as early bird - fresh fish particularly good. Only disappointment was the house wine. First glass was White Zinfandel which was ok. Ordered 2nd glass of house cabernet - it was very poor and she said it was a new bottle. The restaurant did not charge for 2nd glass so that was great.
Very nice dinner and ambiance. Only negative was that flounder was slightly overcooked. It would be nice to see a few vegetarian entrees.
