We had a fantastic evening. Chef was outstanding. Could not have asked for better food, service, or atmosphere. We highly recommend to others. We will definitely return

The large bus outside the restaurant should have been a telltale sign. Nevertheless, as local HHI residents we wanted to see if Alexander's had changed after the hurricane closing and subsequent re-opening. Overall, I would say it has not and still delivers reasonably good food with a very casual service level. While billing itself as a seafood-oriented restaurant, there were very few selections on the menu. Alexander's is under new ownership since we last dined there in 2016 and we loved the new look and ambiance. We also were very happy with our dinners. The Caesar salad was definitely unique and fresh and delish and my Winter Greens salad was wonderful. Veal was great and my flounder was lovely. Great cocktails, too.
We've been dining here for 20 years, even through the different owners. I must admit, our most recent meal was outstanding. Our waitress, Michelle was spot on... she made recommendations and was very accommodating. We did the early bird menu and what a great value. Still one of our favorites after all these years.
