This was our 1st time back since the change in ownership (and since 2 dreadful experiences prior to that). My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised. My salad with squash and cherries was wonderful, and my stuffed fish was good. My husband enjoyed his prime rib. Wines were not as great as expected, but we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
While visiting Hilton Head, we enjoyed dinner here from the early bird menu. The soups were both very good and all four of us enjoyed our entrees. The sweetened tea was very sweet; better to order the unsweetened and add your own sugar. Lesson learned! Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We definitely recommend eating here if you can.
Nice quiet dinner with my husband during restaurant week. Great food and amazing selection of wine. Friendly and attentive staff. The flow of the entire dining experience was a notable mention. From the order being taken, to the arrival of the check, everyone was on top of their task. It was very well orchestrated. The management should be proud of how well their staff meets the expectations of the guests.
Excellent dinner, excellent service, couldn’t ask for a better experience
Since change of management/ownership Alexander’s continues to offer consistency with carefully prepared and high-quality dishes that are modestly priced. A very good choice for those who are first/time diners at Alexander’s. The ambience is casual but refined, and the service prompt, friendly and courteous.
We love Alexander's. The setting is lovely, the service always friendly and efficient and the food is scrumptious. Richard, our server, was very attentive but didn't overdo it!
