Our dinner (4 in the party) was very good. The Head Chef was not in the kitchen as he was at The Seafood Festival. Between the 4 of us we had Grouper, Prime Rib and (2) Weiner Schnitzel...all were good, as were the vegetables. The mashed potatoes left a lot to be desired. There was a large party right behind us and that made conversation difficult and the service less than what it should be. All of that said, we had a nice dinner and enjoyed the evening.
Best dinner in Hilton Head. We stayed in HH for two weeks. Dined at Alexander’s twice. Wished we had time for a third. Go early for lower price, smaller size dinners more suitable for seniors (although I ordered the larger size for myself). Weiner Schnitzel was fantastic! My wife loved the prime rib.
Alexander's was exactly what we hoped it would be - a refined, classy venue, quiet enough to carry on a conversation, with high quality, well-prepared food and drink. Service was friendly, efficient and well-paced. We would definitely come back again. Hard to go wrong with this place.
We three went for the early bird menu. Great selection including a hard-to-find Weiner Schnitzel. All three dinners were great especially at 20 bucks each!
