I've been with them since I was 15 was a great credit union untill they merged and changed the name. it's been a full on nightmare since. I've had multiple problems including most recently making transfers from my checking account to the loan I have with them. Their system is knowingly flawed to the point of when I called to ask about why a transfer I did and know the money moved at that time is now not showing up on the loan. Tried to cash a cashiers check. wanted to put a 5 day hold on it after they verified finds with issuing credit union. This was for loan payoff, some cash back. RIDICULOUS
Went to the branch on South Park Avenue in Dothan. My father had a pod account there. All I had to do is show up with my id and a death certificate to get the funds he left for me. The teller supervisor would not listen to me at all. She gave me some paper about insurance and told me to call the number on it. That it would take 90 days to 6 months to receive the funds. I won't have full access to my account for a whole weekend because of a marketing stunt. I have been a member for over 30 years. I have never been in the army and had enough sense to know I could have an account. Also there have been many inconveniences due to "upgrades." I will be closing my account. Enjoy your marketing stunts.
customer service,employees are incompetent & not truthful, I don't recommend anyone using them unless you want to lose money.
It takes forever for a transaction to clear! Should’ve never switched from regions. Biggest regret I could’ve made. Don’t bank with this bank!
I attempted to make a cash deposit through the ATM. The ATM took part of the money and gave me back the other part. I called several times and was told someone would let me know what was going on. I never got a call. I called back and was told that the ATM machine balanced out. The machine Did Not give me a receipt. I have been with Army Aviation for more than 20 years and now I'm disabled and on a fixed income. They tried to charge me $4000 for insurance when I have had continuous coverage since I bought the truck. If the State of Alabama can see that I have insurance, the lienholder should be able to figure it out as well. They sent a letter giving ten days to submit paperwork, letter arrives seven days later. You need to get your act together if you want to continue providing service to veterans, instead of trying to rip them off.
