How did you get into the moving biz?
DO NOT HIRE! We were quoted $198/hr and told they would put down blankets and ways to protect your home. they did not. While our movers were incredibly nice, everyone was incompetent. They showed up at 10am to start their job, while my fiancé was closing on our new house that we were supposed to be moving into that day. We have 3 dogs and I am 31 weeks pregnant, so during the time that they were loading the truck, I was outside with my dogs so they could promptly do their job. We paid $2k for the house to be damaged and left in this state. They lost the hardware for the beds and I was told it was left at the other house, so I drove 35 minutes only to find it was not there. I called and expressed concern to their operations manager who said he would send me info on how to file a claim and they would settle up with me at the end of the move.
