HORRIBLE- the moving team was great - they broke (shattered) a 1400 Z-Gallerie dresser. The immediately took responsibility and apologized however, I never heard from corporate about the claim. I didn’t even get so much as an apology. When I called I was out on hold and and transferred back and forth. STEER CLEAR!!!! This has been a NIGHTMARE… I kid you not and am not intending to exaggerate. This has been a HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!!!! I am typically not one to leave reviews but PLEASE READ. I have moved at least 12 times since 2003 in Austin, TX and this was by FAR the absolute worst experience I have ever had and cost a fortune. I called around to get quotes from several companies, and All my sons quoted me verbally between $550-650 on our initial call--and we discussed the inventory I had. He was very nice and seemed trustworthy. This was the most reasonable quote I got, so I booked the move. At the end of of the move, my total was over $1200!! AVOID!! They are not forth-coming when giving a quote, even after you ask. Very terrible business practices. They hike up prices the day before a scheduled move thinking you will have no other option.
It was expensive and not professional at all. They charge for things you don’t use. Their employees go as slow as possible, so that it costs you more money
I do not recommend all my sons. I used their service almost a month ago and they hit my garage door frame and front door frame. I filled a claim form, but the “customer care” department hasn’t replied to my claim yet.
If I could make this NEGATIVE STARS I would. But I’m forced to give them one just to write this review about how terrible they were. We scheduled our move date over three months ago and CONFIRMED NUMEROUS times for the date and time. June 26th we waited and waited for the movers to show up. 9am rolls around and no call no movers. Backed out a day before a Scheduled move. Was set up 7 weeks in advance. Deposit and a confirmation Call 2 days before the Move!!! Could Not set up a alternate move Date. Very POOR TREATMENT TO THE CUSTOMER! POOR SERVICE!
RecommendedGreg Jones and his colleague Eric were beyond professional, thorough and an absolute pleasure to work with in moving my family to our new residence. These two are top notch and would highly recommend them both!
