RecommendedIf u have heavy furniture Do NOT Use this company. My initial consultation with Jared went well. I was really impressed by the Google reviews. My actual move was AWFUL. The movers were scheduled to arrive at 8am. They didn't show up till 9:15. No one called to inform me they were going to be late. I called the mgr at about 8:30 and was told they hadn't finished the job the night before and had to go back. He gave no apologies for the inconvenience or me not being notified earlier. The crew that was sent out for our first move was amazing. The crew that was sent out this week for our second move, two homes into one, were horrible. They were sent from Baton Rouge and didn’t show up until almost 11 am. They didn’t have the two trucks we were told we needed and because of legal drive time it took two days because of the drive to and from BR and they took an hour to get from one house to the other. Terrible movers! Arrived late and did not know what they were doing a 2 hour job as quoted took 5.5 hours. Paid for 4 guys and caught one sleeping and another missing. Furniture was dragged and damaged. They did nothing . They force you to pay with credit card before they will take your furniture off truck. They are scam artists! Beware…
Such a frustrating experience. I called over a month ago, and was given by far the best quote in the city. Of course, I booked! When called two days before, the quote nearly doubled. When I started asking question, I was blown off with "you booked with a call center, I don't know what they told you" and eventually told that my move would was being canceled because I was "clearly difficult." Still waiting on a refund from May27th. They never moved me due to their scheduling error.
I tried repeatedly to call and text Jared And Chris earlier this evening, but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. I cannot begin to tell you have upset and disappointed I am in your moving services. When I moved here 90 days ago, a 3 man crew moved me from out of state to a 3 bedroom apt on the 3rd floor. This 3 man crew unloaded their truck, moving all of my furniture and belongings UP 3 flights of stairs to my 3 rd floor apt. in 4.5 hours. Disclaimer: this review does have a little to do with the movers, but mostly with their claims department. We moved recently and the movers ruined our TV. We submitted a claim, and were offered a whopping $125 for our ruined $700 TV, which we had to replace. When I called, I was told “well, if you want to be really specific we’re only legally required to reimburse you for $0.60 per POUND of damaged, lost, or stolen items so technically we only owe you like $32 at most. I was quoted 2 weeks before my move for 3 guys at $139/hr. This was some sort of special. When my husband called to pay the $500 deposit, they were trying to talk him into 4 guys at $229/hr. He said no. We had moved into this rental 6 months ago with a different company and it took 3 guys 6 hours. Fast forward to 48 hours before the move, and they call wanting to send out their estimator. The guy comes and estimated it would need 5 guys and 9.5 hours for a total of $3,300.
