Worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. They overcharged for the move. All of my furniture has damage on it. Many of my items were stolen. The movers were inexperienced and unprofessional. Even though Popeyes Moving Company was paid to unpack and reassemble furniture, they simply dumped boxes in the rooms. I had to hire another moving company to help with unpacking and assembling furniture.
Beware!!! Do not, I repeat, do not choose this company! They claim to be the official movers for the Miami Dolphins, so we thought they would be reputable and have good customer service. Not the case. Showed up an hour and a half late, moved slower than a turtle, and charged us for the hour and a half lunch break that they took, on top of breaking a light and cabinet. Wow, this situation caught me off guard. I seen all the good reviews and received great customer service on the phone but got SLAMMED WITH OVERAGE PRICES at the end!!!!! Day one of moving and everything was great. Then comes day two of the moving job and I end up with a grand total bill that is 3X, literally, what I was originally advised. …. I’m editing this post because they were literally standing over me to write a review and now I must be honest I paid and gave a big tip prematurely. All I will say is I don’t recommend. Over priced and you don’t get what you pay for. Broken items at a high cost And rudeness.
Where do I start… used them 4 times before. This time was awful. But enlightening. They were an hour late. This created a $250 over time bill for me to reserve security and the elevator that they refused to pay. They sent out 4 kids basically. Nice kids but No tools, used my tape and when they left the dressers and big head boards were upside down in the bedrooms, drawers facing the wall one was vertically on its side. Lol I mean wtf? They wasted the time i paid for, by forgetting their tools and make us go to find some. they took twice as long to get to our new place as they should have. they wouldn’t even move my couch. they told me they’d move the dresser with the drawers still in it, and then refused to do that. they claimed my physical card didn’t work (when i later found out it did and they double charged me), wrote down my digital card number, and later used that for fraud on ebay. i am beyond upset.
All My Sons? More like All My Thieves. The only reason this gets two stars is Mike and some of his team. They completely lied on charges, show you no logic for up charges per their contract mid move, hold your stuff ransom unless you pay along the way. They broke many items. The GM Stephen is a babbling nightmare — good luck talking to that guy, he said Im holding your stuff “not in hostage” pending an in move dispute — which is exactly what it was. Terrible crew. Only one of the three guys working was worth paying for. They dropped the top of my entertainment system twice! It weighs less than 4lbs and they dropped it once in the condo and then again when they were taking it to the storage. They cracked a wall and broke the edge of mirror. There was nothing professional about them. A 3 hour move took 5 hours. I paid the same amount that it took to move my furniture from Chicago to Miami! I would never recommend this company.
