DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS!!!! Our move was canceled on the day of the move. We called and spoke to 2 people at the company about our move within 5 days of the move. On the morning of the move I get a text that they were not able to confirm the move with us so they were rescheduling it!!!! I apologize for this long review, but I believe that this should be said and brought to everyone’s attention. This entire situation was completely overwhelming and very embarrassing. I am sorry for the language that I will use at the end of this review. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. On my contract and confirmation page, I was scheduled to get moved out of Mt. Pleasant, SC on 10-12-2021. I was then scheduled to get moved in to my apartment in FL on 10-13-2021. I confirmed these dates with Dennis Martin, my sales representative on 10-11-2021. I spoke with two reservation representatives and I was very clear about wanting to understand the pricing. Eventually we came up with a number around $800. I knew this was a best case estimate and I expected it may go up to $1200 at the very most. I was also quoted for 2 movers and 3 movers at the same rate but only 2 ended up showing up. Overall, really bad experience. We moved out of our house on 7/27, and the 3 young men who moved us worked hard and were very careful with our things. Due to a miscommunication by the office, their moving blankets were put on our furniture and then removed at the storage unit to be replaced with the moving blankets we purchased. We were supposed to move into the new house on 7/31, and the movers were supposed to re-wrap all the furniture in our own moving blankets. Stay away. Better use of money starting a fire than paying this company.
It was awful. My time was 8am, they showed up at 515pm. I never received any update calls, I had to call them through multiple numbers because no one answers the phone. The movers finished at 1215am, were dropping boxes labeled fragile. Broke several pieces of furniture without even telling me, I found it myself. They taped furniture but only wrapped one piece so there are dents and scratches on all the furniture. I could go on and on. Whatever you do, DO NOT use All My Sons in Orlando. We were given a quote of $400-500. They were not the cheapest quote we got, but said they could accommodate our afternoon move. The day of comes and they call at 8am asking if we are ready. We said no, we asked for a an afternoon move. They said they would be back. They showed up at 5pm, looked at all our stuff and said they didn’t have time to do this today, leaving us SOL with a wasted day.
