It was my first time at Allegro and while everything was ok, there wasn't anything particularly memorable about it. The food was relatively average and prices, for what it was, were on the high side. With a good amount of restaurants in and around Little Italy, I wouldn't necessarily look to come back.
Wouldn’t recommend to go right they open. I think that was out own mistake. Our server was A+ and the menu looked good. The food was ok. I would recommend the chef’s special. They told it was for two people, but honestly the portions were big enough for 3-4 adults depending on how hungry +/- apps and salads etc. The pasta from the chef’s special was actually better leftover since the parm melted better that way. Food and service were excellent. I love the menu. There are some unique takes on classic Italian dishes.
The calamari obviously had been frozen before and was very chewy. It was thin rings. And the dipping sauces were bland. Squash blossoms were average, again the sauce was bland. Ciabatta bread basket was stale. The staff was very very nice.
Bebe gave amazing service! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious and the indoor was beautiful!
Great food! The service was great, the hostess did not see our note on the reservation but they quickly moved us to the lemon room once we asked. We loved it!
The pasta was amazing rich with flavor! The calamari was a 4.5 out of 10. We wanted to try the bread but they ran out. Over all I give it 9 out of 10. Highly recommend.

While the food was enjoyable, our overall experience was significantly impacted by the seating arrangement. Our table felt awkwardly squeezed between two others, leaving little space and making the setting feel cramped. Unfortunately, this also seemed to affect the service—our drinks arrived after our food, and two shots of limoncello took about 10 minutes to reach us.
