This was our first visit to Allegro. We had a great date night dinner there. We started with the Grilled Artichokes and the Charcuterie Board. After that we had the Osso Bucco and the Pork Belly Carbonara. Everything was delicious. The service was top notch, super attentive and welcoming. We were very pleased with our experience and look forward to returning again soon.
Server was awesome! We had a great meal (Salmon and their Short Rib Tortellini) & it was a great ambience. Portions were perfect (not generous but great so you could walk out feeling good) & every sauce was creamy and delicious. 10/10 would come back!
Amazing pasta and outstanding service! The pasta was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better. Highly recommend this place for a delicious and enjoyable meal.
From start to finish we had top notch service and the best dinning experience
Allegro in San Diego is a gem! Loved the cozy-but-lively vibe with super cute lemons hanging from the ceiling. Food rocked—appetizers and mains hit the spot, but OMG, the lemoncello and tiramisu were absolute perfection (10/10, no notes). Staff was super friendly and on it, even when packed on a Saturday night. Yeah, there was a tiny wait between courses, but the fun energy made it okay. Perfect for date night or hanging with friends—they nailed it. Def coming back.
We went for restaurant week 2nd time. The steak was as good as any steak house. The salad was yummy. The service was attentive and friendly. We love this place.

The portions were generous, making it easy to share appetizers between two people. The atmosphere of the venue was truly remarkable, enhancing the overall dining experience.
