Super happy with this restaurant! The food was beyond amazing. Their Risotto Al Porcini E Tartufo was delicious and amazing to watch as it was stirred in a cheese wheel. The staff and owner of the restaurant were extremely friendly and constantly checked up on us. It can be a bit pricey but it is totally worth it. Highly recommend the Banfi Rosa Regale.

Our appetizzer (griller octupos) was sublime. My main (carbonara) was under-seasoned and truly disappointing. And we booked an early meal (5:30) to try and avoid the Little Italy scene, only to find that by 6:00 we were in an alcove with two large and very, very, loud, groups. On the other hand, our server was terrific. And, in fairness, this is probably not all on Allegro, but rather reflects the vibe in Little Italy. We'll not be back.

We were greeted and seated right away in the beautiful patio area! Our waiter was so fun and personable! We started with some appetizers, tried 3 different pasta dishes and 2 desserts. All the food was excellent and beautifully presented. Unfortunately once our food came we didn’t have any wait service for a long time. We were half done eating when the waiter offered cheese for our pasta. He never asked if we wanted more drinks, we had to find someone else for that. Other than that we enjoyed our experience!

We went on Wednesday when the had 50% off wine bottles. The wine was great and so was the food. We did the chef special in the Parmesan wheel for two! It was phenomenal! Highly recommend. We sat on the outdoor patio under the lemon grove and it was very beautiful and romantic. We love this place and will be back
