The food was good and the pasta wheel was worth the half off price that we got it for. Issues to cause a lower rating: the staff did not have proper knowledge on the restaurant operation and this cause myself and my date an uncomfortable date night. It was a cold night and they offered outdoor seating. We asked if the heaters worked and they said yes so we agreed to sitting outside. New Year's Eve ... Allegro exemplified great ambiance combined with excellent service (waiter and host/hostest) along with a reasonably priced 3 course meal special that was superbly and deliciously prepared. Will come back again when we travel to San Diego's Little Italy. Bravo!!
Absolutely delicious! Must try in San Diego, cheese wheel is great!! And the steak caught me by surprise it was great.

10/10, our favorite restaurant, started going beginning of this year and still love to go. We’re not local but it is absolutely worth the 1.5 hour drive
Allegro is easily my new favorite Italian restaurant in Little Italy. We started with the artichokes, beautifully prepared and truly divine. The cacio e pepe gnocchi and chicken Florentine were both superb, refined, comforting, and perfectly executed. I’d happily order every dish again and look forward to returning to Allegro the next time I’m back in Little Italy.
Enjoyed Christmas dinner here as a small party of 3 that booked ahead on this app. Everything was great, including everyone on the Allegro team. By the end of my meal of oysters, filet, and tiramisu, my only remaining wish was for Italian Christmas music, so I guess we’ll have to come back for a Christmas to see what’s playing.
