Their food is authentic and the pasta taste like it came directly from Italy. Love the ambience, great customer service! Definitely recommend.
It w as wonderful - food and staff was excellent!!
Main takeaways were the food and ambiance were phenomenal! The service we got from our waiter was subpar. We asked for bread and never saw it, asked for separate checks and he got frustrated at our request and we felt like we barely saw him. We had an amazing buser. She was attentive with our water glasses and always made sure our table was clean and we were taken care of. Lastly, the bathroom was not very well maintained at all. For such an upscale atmosphere, it felt disappointing to walk into a filthy bathroom.

The restaurant was beautiful and the food was great the service could’ve been better the waiters brought out the wrong drinks twice and put our plate down and started talking to us in the middle of our prayer which isn’t too bad but usually something waiters are contentious of
Had a 7:00pm reservation. Showed up 30 minutes before and was seated upon arrival. Both service and staff were very friendly and polite. Food was excellent and very pleasant environment.
Typical Italian restaurants are quite small and for someone of my height, I would have appreciated if they would have tried accommodating the request I made in the reservation to have a table with more leg room. It’s was quite crammed so the restaurant was a bit loud. Aside from this the waiters and hosts were very polite. Food was good and didn’t take long. They had a nice drink menu that had different options but not too many. I would recommend this restaurant for certain occasions if you are ever in the SD area.
Waitress (Beatrice) was lovely. Bus staff never refilled water. Did not get requested plates for apps or fresh milled pepper for salad and pasta. Octopus, calamari apps were very delicious. Caesar salad was good but would have benefited by the fresh pepper and homemade croutons would elevate. Cappuccino was not cappuccino. Not sure they know how to make one. Two before dinner drinks; a Tom Collins & an Amaretto Sour were underwhelming. Sour needed more Amaretto. Would return when back in San Diego.
We had a group of 8 of us here on a Saturday night at 6pm. While it was busy, we were there early enough before the rush of the Saturday night crowd came in. We really wanted to like this place however it fell short. It took over an hour to get our meal. Tables around us who were seated after us were served and finished before us. When the pasta arrived, it was cold and you could tell it was sitting out for a while.
