Great evening at Allegro for my daughters birthday. 5 of us and service was great, appetizers came out quick and food not too far after. All dishes were different and everyone raves about the authentic cuisine. We will be back!
Loved the restaurant week menu. The pesto pasta was perfect!
Most delicious meal! Our party of 8 all loved each dish we ordered. Service was attentive, helpful and made the experience more fun. Great drinks too. Ambience was fantastic on the covered lemon grove patio with fire pit in center.
I was really looking forward to our dinner at Allegro from reading their menu and website. It was a birthday celebration. Perhaps it would have been a better experience with a different server, we didn’t feel the love. Minimal effort, I mean at least they brought us our food but that’s pretty much it. One of the dishes was really good, the others were just OK. We wouldn’t return.
I love my veggie pasta and our waitress was amazing.
Came to San Diego to visit our daughter and wanted to have a nice meal with her and her roommate. Had several dishes among the four of us. Gnocchi and the pasta with Italian sausage was good (unfortunately not great) and the lobster ravioli and pasta with shrimp were only fair, just not robust enough. The wine was good. Our main complaint would have to be the service. We had to ask for bread, our food was delivered to our table about five minutes apart, and we were not offered parmigiana cheese for our dishes until our meal ... read more
Great atmosphere, A++ customer service, incredible food.
The pasta wheel entree was amazing. Unfortunately the ribeye ordered came out over cooked, ordered medium rare and came out medium well, sent back for another try and it came back the same way. My wife just sent it back and didn’t eat dinner. The server was wonderful enough to apologize and bring out a free dessert for us, it was my birthday so I was thankful to get that.
