It was a really hot night in San Diego so the whole restaurant was hot even though they had maxed out the ACs. The food was still delicious and the service was still top notch even though you could see all of the servers were really sweating up a storm. Would definitely go back. The gnocchi was amazing along with the burrata salad, garlic knots and pretty much everything else we ordered.
Love their outdoor patio, and they have a great weekday date night menu! Our server was soo sweet!
We had a reservation for 8:30 pm and we arrived about 10 minutes before, the host was super friendly they got us a table before our time. As it was raining, everything inside was very full and they gave us a table that was very close to a group of people who could not speak. Honestly, we were going to leave because it was super uncomfortable, we told the waiter and then he gave us the option right away to find a better table and they did. Amazing service. Alvaro was so nice and really attentive.
Very hot night. Crowded. Food was late & my husband had to ask for his salad after we got ours & waited another 15 minutes. He ordered a heirloom tomato & barista cheese salad. I’ve never seen such tiny slices of tomato. Not even as big as a dime!!! Our waiter did his best but was not able to keep everything straight. We had a birthday celebration but it never got noticed.
