Staff was great!
I had surf and turf I don’t think it’s on the menu. It was bomb
Server was fabulous! The host was too. Really everyone from busers to server to paying attention to water refills, everyone was fabulous! Food was terrific! Garlic knots a bit oily at the bottom but delicious. The food containers were a bit hard to close. We will definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant.
Restaurant seemed understaffed and over whelmed. Not able to deliver expected experience for the prices we paid. Everything would have been better with more staff available to for the amount of guests. Other than that, delicious and our server was super charming.
My friends and I had an awesome time! The receptionist welcomed us with a great smile and she even took a few snapshots of us infront of the restaurant. I asked if we can be seated on the table under the lemon ceiling and luckily there was a table for us. Our server, Diego, gave us a fantastic dining experience. The food is not that good and on a pricey side. But overall, Allegro is a great place to unwind and experience a little bit of Italy in San Diego.

Very enjoyable experience From the greeting at the side walk to the relaxed ethnic atmosphere and delicious food I had a memorable time At the restaurant.
This was my first time dining at Allegro. It was a pretty busy night. Although I had made a reservation, the hosts did not check me in formally and had directed me to wait for the next table available. I ended up waiting about 15 min past my reservation time, but since it was a busy night, it was understandable. The gnocchi was delicious! I liked that we weren't rushed out of our table, but we did have to be somewhere after so we had to look for Gabriel quick.
