It is a nice place - not bad but for Italian a bit bland. I had Lobster Raviolis- ravioli was delicious- sauce a bit unremarkable. Artichoke appetizer was yummy. No bread was served so if you’re an Italian that likes bread you will be disappointed. Service was excellent- wine was delicious. This is in the heart of Little Italy and there is a plethora of Italian Restaurants - chose wisely!
The food was delicious. The service was great as well. I would definitely go back to enjoy a meal.
It would of been a great experience but our waiter was never around and a homeless person was bothering us while ww were trying to eat. Very uncomfortable.
Overall I would say this place is just okay. Ambiance is 5/5, very pretty spot. The food is just not great. Went for a birthday get together and split appetizers with a friend and got 1 drink each. Just for that our bill was $125 and we both agreed that the appetizers we got were extremely underwhelming. We still had a nice time but wouldn’t go back.
This was our first visit to Allegro and we will definitely return! We stopped in and were in time for a couple of the Happy Hour items, which saved us a few dollars, but, everything was excellent!
Food was good but not anything special.
Really wish they had chicken parm. Drinks were priced moderately and service was excellent!
We sat for about 15 minutes before the waiter came over, who was visibly frustrated when the hostess told him he had another table. By the time he came over, we were ready to order drinks, apps, and entrees. We had every intention of ordering more drinks but it seems the server wasn’t very attentive or maybe they were just short staffed, I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I was celebrating a very special occasion (engagement 💍) and unfortunately it just wasn’t a great experience for me.
It was ok. Pricey for what it is.
