Communication in this transaction was not good at all. I’m not sure who the name is on this surgery, because Doug Edwards was my contact. I think I received two pieces of communication through the entire process and both were initiated by me and returned much later date thank when I reached out. I don’t ever want to leave a bad review, but somehow there was a disconnect on this one. 😢

When told I was pre-approved, I still had to go through two weeks of underwriting panic as the closing date was looming. It felt like I wasn’t pre-approved, and that that being told that I was pre-approved was an untruth. Lots of last minute documents. Started with 10 or 12 that became almost 70. Not sure why i had to continuously show more and more proof of deposits. Ended up with 12. They were all payroll checks. Had calls continuously asking for documents that were needed immediately. 1st tax returns. Then tax transcripts. Then more deposit verification. Try to figure out what you need then ask for it all at once. It wasnt just once or twice where you asked for something different. It was more than 10 times.

Allen needs to follow up better with clients and underwriting. We had to move the closing because of his lack of folllow up making sure things were being turned in timely. My client and myself felt like just another number the entire process.
