I am extremely disappointed with Allied. I have had the pavers in for over a year since July 2020 and it has been nothing but problems since I got them installed. I have had numerous repairs and problems with the stones. I have had several different people responsible for my job but the including Steve and now Don ****. Because of where the sprinkler wires were place in the middle of the patio and sunken down in the ground without a drainage system, the wires have needed to be replaced 4 times. I have been very disappointed with Allied in their lack of quality, timeliness, and communication. They started the outdoor project in February and we are now in August. Not only have they done a poor job with timeliness, but their communication is bad as well. It has now been three weeks since I have heard from the project manager Garrett ***** on status. Had Carvestone put down only for it to lose color and fade and look terrible, called them to come out they told me there would be a $200 charge for someone to come out and recolor the entire patio, the person they sent out refused to color the whole patio because he said they were only giving him $50. We gave the guy an additional $100 to do a better job, it’s been less than a year and the color is coming off again everywhere the sun hits it. Total waste of money, very disappointing product!

I do not know where to begin. Two years ago, after the original estimate was agreed upon, they decided that they needed to ear out three additional large areas of concrete to assure a level surface and for proper drainage. After the 1st rainfall, all of the water drained to under our covered patio. When we complained, they put in a drain which did nothing and said there is nothing they could do. We initially called this company the last week in January. The earliest they could schedule us was three weeks later on February 16th. They never showed for their appointment. Never called us. Never sent an email. I was understanding that we didn’t hear from them that day or even that entire week because that was the week Texas was hit hard with winter storms. Allied has done my front walk way. The first day was OK but when they re-cover it, they put black all over the walk way. I asked them to come fix it and they refused to fix it. No wonder you have to pay before they do it. BEWARE!!!!!!

Horrible longterm look on my patio around pool! Don’t spend the money ! If you have to use color they will charge you yearly thousands to reseal if you want there product to stay nice as there color fades very quickly as you can see in pictures. I feel foolish that I gave them more money for them to come fix it for it to happen again a year later.

BBB, Carvestone has been installed on thousands of projects in multiple states and is an excellent product for certain (though not all) situations. It does require some maintenance, including the need to be resealed every couple of years. We would suggest filling out a maintenance request form so we can come out and take a look at it. We had Carvestone applied in 2016 to our patio and cool deck around pool by this company. We had it resealed last year to keep the warranty in place. Now the paint is fading, the expansion joints are discolored black and we have noticed small pinprick holes in the surface. The reviews left on here are positive because the work was recently done.
