my tech is so pleasant and capable. she is also an interesting lady who explains everything she is doing in order to make you comfortable and secure. its a delight to have my teeth clean by your staff.
The specific surgery went well. The doctor demonstrated his expertise and extreme politeness. I would only suggest a slower/softer touch when working his tools in the mouth, specially when pulling the cheeks open. I would highly recommend that the get their scheduling under control: my appointment was 30 minutes late, for the second consecutive time.
The office personel and receptionist' are wonderful. But....I plan to never visit Dr. Pomeranz again if I can help it.
I was impressed with my services I recieved from the periodontist. The way payments would be handled was not made clear to me. Fortunately between my care credit card and visa credit card I was able to pay the full amount. I was under the impression that I could pay in 3 installments. I was told because I was using a "care credit" card I had to pay the full amount, that they could not do the 3 payment in stallments throught care credit. I am not a weathly person and do not have an extra $900 to spare in one shot. Given I cam... read more
The attention that I received from the medical staff was fine HOWEVER, what spoiled my ENTIRE encounter with this practice is that every conversation after that, which was with the ADMIN's was about money. I was scheduled for surgery a few days before I actually got paid and they said they refused to see me if I was not able to pay in full. This was my first visit to the ofc and they had no reason NOT to trust me. This will be my last visit to the office. Will not refer anyone else here. Have never had a medical office be so... read more
I was very nervous about my gum surgery and expressed that to my periodontist before he began. He did a good job technically, but seemed indifferent to my fears as he didn't address them or try to allay them by explaining what he was doing while he was working...even though I asked him if he would. He was focused, but stern while working on my gums. His assistant held my cheek away from my teeth with a dental mirror that cut into my cheek. I told her a few times that she was hurting me, but she still kept the tool in a posit... read more
Couldn't believe I was charged an additional =/- $48.00 to check the depth of the five gums locations that you previously treated. That check took less than two minutes. The rest of the procedure was quite good.
Doctors seemed to be in a hurry. Did not spend much time. Did not explain on all possible options. After tooth extraction, did not provide any info on post-care. Did not inform on what medicines to take if there is infection or fever etc.
My last visit was quoted as $1,200 before the procedure, I was charged $1,800 after visit...38 percent more than originally quoted! I feel I must seek alternative service if this overcharge is not reviewed and corrected to a more reasonable cost figure!
