I’m usually really happy with the service I receive at AMA salon but today I was extremely disappointed. I came in for a wash and style on my sew in. It took 5 hours which is ridiculous. My appointment started at 2:10 & I left at 7:08. The stylist which washed my hair did a very bad job, my hair was extremely matted after the wash due to the technique that was used when washing my scalp. I had a great experience when it comes to the braids I received hence why I left a tip for the girls that did the braids but the hidden extra charges left a sour taste. After the lady had spent time detangling my hair, I was then informed of 20 pounds for this which should have been advised before cause I could have deranged the hair myself. I got my braids done at Ama's hair salon and this is the worst my hair has ever been. I am truly disappointed. I requested large braids. On their website, the design of large braids shows that I should get 35 single plaits however I got only 21 single plaits. The braids I got are so big, the braider pasted my hair with gel trying to hold together the plaits. I am a hairstylist therefore I know the difference between jumbo and large.
