My first experience at Ama’s Hair Salon was amazing. Every person I encountered was courteous. I was offered tea, and even food. The best service I have ever experienced in a hair salon, across continents. A wonderful and beautiful place. Also the buzz and the music just makes for a complete and pleasurable experience. From when I walked in, I felt special. I was welcomed by happy and friendly staff. Everyone introducing themselves and asking if I was okay and if I wanted a beverage. The detangle prior to the wash was a sign that I was off to a good start, the ladies detangling the hair were gentle (and as a natural hair girl gentleness is key). Monday 9th October was booked in for a loc wash and retwist, but thought my preferred loctician was not in. I was pleasantly greeted by Omega with her beautiful smile. She then washed my locs and treated my locs and scalp. Additionally she added the two locs twist to the interlocking and I am extremely happy with the outcome.
