Everything came on time for my auto transport. Driver need better customer service. Basic cost 950 upgraded to priority putting it at 11500 paid a 200 deposit. So I was supposed to owe only 950 but ended up paying 1050. So an extra 100.00 came out of nowhere. The person on the phone could of been more understanding of their mistake in price instead of blaming the customer. Over the service was on time but the customer care and pricing was off.

Exceptionally dishonest. I was asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund if the driver could not deliver the car by a certain date. I was told I could. Of course, when exactly that happened, they said I could not because the order had been dispatched, even though the pickup date was a week later than I had told them I needed the car by. Michael is not being truthful. He was told as we tell everyone and it is listed on our terms and conditions that Michael could cancel and receive a 100% refund of his down payment anytime before we dispatch his vehicle to a carrier and we provide Michael with the carrier's name, the driver's name and phone number, and the pickup and delivery dates. Broker was very rude on the phone. Talked over you and was very unprofessional. You could not even get a word in. He lacked customer service skills and should be fired immediately.

Do not hire this company they will keep your money and not even pick up your vehicle they have hidden information as per contracting them I had to cancel my order due to them not been straight forward and when I called now they have a 11 day window to pick up and refuse to refund my deposit

Omar is not being truthful. Omar's shipment was a 154 mile shipment with a 1 to 3 day pickup. Omar is not being truthful. He double booked his shipment. We are not sure why he hired 2 car shipping companies to ship the same car. Omar is not being truthful as we have NO hidden information on our terms and conditions which are on the front page of our website. We are glad Omar received his vehicle safely.

This was the worst experience ever. I usually ship cars; in the past I have used sites such as Uship or autotransportdirect.com without any problems until I tried americanautoshipping.com. I decided to try them because they always seem to offer prices that tend to be very low compare to other shipping dealers. Customer Johanan Mushota is not being truthful in his review. He did not disclose the shipping option he choose has a 90% chance of picking up within the 1 to 3 day listing period. We are sincerely sorry he fell into the 10% that can take several days longer to pickup due to there not being 10 vehicles yet that wanted to go to Massachusetts. Called about vehicle customer service was very rude and nasty saying I'm not a veteran and he was removing a $25discount and hung up on me multiple times.

Mr Hilton was rude and abusive to Rachel, Andrew, MIke and kirshawna. He insisted he was promised that his car would be picked up and delivered from Portland, Oregon to San Antonio Texas in ONE day. When we tried to explain that would be impossible he called us stupid and worse. He claims to be a member of our military so we are sending a copy of this review and complaint to all 5 of our military bases in San Antonio about his disrespectful behaviour and abuse.

If you are in a hurry, don’t use American auto shipping!!! “90% Of the time the vehicle is shipped within their five business day schedule” I shipped two cars with them, the first one shipped in 12 or 13 days, which wasn’t a problem because I was not in a hurry for that vehicle. The second vehicle Needed to be shipped much quicker as I only had approval to leave it for a week or two where it was parked. I contracted with American to transport two of my vehicles. They gave my vehicles to Stacks Hauling & Transport. Stacks did donuts in my Mustang and posted it on their Instagram and Facebook stories, put 21 miles on the vehicle and did extensive damage to the vehicle. According to American, they are like a travel agency and not responsible for the negligence of the haulers with whom the entrust with transporting your vehicle. Pay attention to who is transporting your vehicle because they are not all to be trusted !

Poor business practice. Will never employ. Stay away. I asked for delivery the next day. They stole my deposit and didn't want to refund it after I asked for it. Hidden in the fine print is that they can take 7 days to pick up your car. I had to catch a flight the next day! Spoke to some rude customer service person who wouldn't refund the money. Sad excuse for a business. Montray is 10x better!

Customer Wilson Hago is not being truthful. He placed his order on 9-6 with a first available date of 9-7. We dispatched it the SAME day for pickup on Monday the 9th. When we spoke to customer Wilson Hago on the 7th he had hired another company and the car had been picked up. We could have charged him a $200 cancellation fee but did NOT. We are not sure why customer Wilson Hago hired two companies to do the same thing.
