I seriously considered going with this company The rep Cade Remsburg called and was very arrogant.rude and condensing. Demanding ( not asking) of pics of the car and garage. I jdidn't like his demeanor... And it's been my experience of a company gives you that much hassle right off the bat I could imagine what it would be like dealing with them on a legitimate claim I will just keep shopping for my car collector's insurance this market is far too competitive than have to put up with being hassled like that.
Terrible Company....They wanted to charge me $57 for an exclusion letter.....Dropped them like a hot potato!

Terrible coverage when a claim is filed. They pass you off to a third rate re-insurance company that strives to short change you on your collector car as much as possible.

I have my classic corvette insured with american classic. I had an accident in May of last year.Apparently the check was sent threw the mail and was stolen.Here we are in February and they cant resolve the problem that has nothing to do with me.My car is not repaired and has been sitting in my garage wrecked.American is waiting for the bank to resolve the problem.9 months later no answers.

I wish I knew the representatives name but I just spoke with American Collectors Insurance about a quote on an imported car. And whoever I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and kept speaking over me while trying to talk. Saying “Where is your dads house!?!” and while I tried to give her the address she kept saying it over and over again. I had it with this company. I filed a theft claim last year, the claim specialist is awful in returning calls, answering to emails, and goes around my questions. I made a formal complaint and only received a letter covering the claim specialist actions. I need to speak with someone above my claim specialist and someone who will listen to my concerns and help me.
