About this business

The Financial Freedom Plan is a proven method for helping people become debt-free using the power of debt settlement. Debt settlement is an agreement with your creditors to pay off your debt (settle it) for less than you owed. While the concept is simple, it takes a lot of work and experience to know what debts can be settled and when the settlement offers are in your favor.

This company is terrible. Its been five months since I signed the contract with them and they have done nothing. And, they have more than $1,500 of my money in monthly payments and my debt is higher than when I signed on. Its only three creditors to be negotiated with and not one has been settled, nor have they contacted me for updates or returned my calls. if I had it to do all over again, I would NOT do business with this company.******* *. and ***** *.

This company handled my contract unprofessionally and unethically. This company has caused a suit to be filed against me without my ever having the slightest knowledge and opportunity to defend myself or having the chance to speak on my behalf to resolve any disputes.

I feel bad I ever call them I feel their services for horrible they didn't help me I wish I didn't give them information they didn't complete it by sending me a report to my email like they said wood three times and never did I feel they're shady and I would not recommend anyone going to them. And you know what I didn't trust them. I know at the end in 4 years I could have perfect credit and have less headaches and they wanted me to destroy my credit and have no credit and they're just a bunch of b******* and at the end I wo... read more

Started with this company about 1.5 years ago. Had 3 accounts to settle, so far 2 are settled. Their sales pitch was 50% of ones total debt would be settled. They told me don't worry about creditors calling. They told me, you'll pay this much per month for 3.5 years So far since joining, one creditor has added $2,000 in interest, took me to court and now I have a judgement against me for $2,000 more than I originally owed Example= debt upon enrollment $16,000 Same debt now =$18,000 Settlement offer from creditor = $14,000 If... read more

Ive been working with this company since March 2022. I have paid over 11k into the savings account, but am now stuck with a default judgment from Amex and 2 accounts in collections due to lack of engagement, communication, and effort from American Debt Relief. I had been hopeful that sticking with the program would benefit me, but its only caused stress, fear, and even worse credit. If youre considering this place, I would encourage you to avoid at all costs.

Needed to cancel my business with them. Called and was told I would get the money back that I put in. Instead I never got an email saying that I canceled, never got the refund, and was then blocked for looking at my account with them to see what was going on. Almost $700. Down the drain.

This is a scam. So the settlement action does not begin until you are literally at rock bottom with your credit score. I actually had an "okay" score to start, but alternate to the expectations set with me at sign up, the action does not begin (settlement negotiations and such) until you have absolutely been many months late. This obviously tanks your credit score and I had a pending move scheduled for 6 months away at the time of my program start. This made my score so low that I have no choice but to remain where I am beca... read more

The company is deceptive regarding their 25 percent fee. If not deceptive, certainly not forthcoming with the fact that it is 25 percent of the total debt balance and not of the settlement amount. I only had one large debt with ***** to get settled, but in retrospect, I should have negotiated myself with ***** because ADRs fees are astronomical! I am paying an astronomical amount of $1,565.48 every month for seven months, and come to find out, only $718 is actually being sent to Chase, so ADR is keeping $847.48! Oh, and prio... read more
