This company is awful, my partner used them for 2 credit cards he couldnt pay, they did settle with one but the other one is now a lawsuit with all of our assets frozen, they never told us it would go that far, if they couldnt settle they should have said something and when we called to see if there was any monies left they said no, I mean of course there isnt, they took it all, so now we have to hire an attorney and dont even know how to pay them. So disappointed and disgusted.

I would never recommend this company. When I signed up with them they stated that within 3 months I should see some results. Well the only results that I am seeing is my bank account payments to them, but no action on their part as far as what's going on with my creditors. I wouldn't even give them the 1 star rating but it's a mandatory feature here. My credit has been destroyed by this company, from the long period of waitng for any action at all from them to my creditors. I don't even think they work on your behalf because... read more

I enrolled with *** in 5/2025 drafting almost $600 monthly for several months, I lost income and had to reduce draft. They reduced my draft a little under 400. 2 months later I recieved a letter I'm being sued by TD which was one of the creditors enrolled in the program. So I called ADR and all they told me is to attend my court hearing that there was nothing they can do. So instead of them prioritizing TD they continued negotiating with other creditors. American Debt Relief didnt relieve my debt so much as let my credit crash and burn, then drip-feed vague promises while I did the work of babysitting their system. I paid every two weeks for two years (52 payments) without missing once, and the support experience was still chaos: repeated calls, conflicting answers, itll be done this week / next week / 35 weeks, and then nothing.Their portal and **** constantly contradicted each other. STOP -- READ THIS: I was stuck in debt to credit card companies with no way out and American debt relief contacted me over and over trying to "help" And by help I mean force you to use their bank of FEES out the wazoo. I am talking fee for transfer in and THEN fee for each payment out and THEN, fee monthly just for the bank account, they sneak these fees into the contract at sign up once they have exhausted you into signing up for their problems and cons. They ripped off my elderly father and left him in worse financial shape than he started, after they took their cut of course. It's a scam boosted by cable tv ads targeted at older people.

I went with this program because we agreed to all payoffs with a 36 month payment plan. @ $350 a month all they did was close two accounts out of 7 and then tried to add another 6 months of payments. Never Even talked to 3 of them. Not only am I out all that money, Im currently on payment plans with the remaining ***** I would not go with this company at all. Take care of your debt with payment plans yourself.

Do not work with them!!!! They pay themselves before paying off your debt!
