Disappointed. Very disgusting place. Used a dirty thermometer that was just laying on the counter up my dogs butt then barely cleaned it with alcohol - so upset I didn't stop her. I had to leave I could not take the smell and the grime. Even the air vents looked to be covered in mold and filth. I wanted to love this place because they do PRP but they told me I should find another vet when I asked for a cleaner room. Why can't medical offices be sanitary and clean. I will not accept such low standards and laziness.

We are disappointed to hear that you had a negative experience with us. Thank you for taking the time to speak to our team in more detail about your concerns. We will use this feedback to improve our processes so we can continue to offer the best care possible to our patients.
Took our husky boy in because he scratched his eye. They got him in and we were in and out in a very reasonable time. After going here for just over a year and all curbside I was able to go in and actually meet a vet. Dr. Pond and his vet tech(didn't catch her name or actually his for that matter except for the paperwork). The main thing I've concluded in all my visits here is that they're JUST friendly enough. Now that I've been inside the greetings are very minimal, almost awkward as if I walked into someone's house unan... read more
I've been coming here for easy 8+ years... Our simple vaccine/ nail trim visits are always $250+ for two small healthy dogs. We always have issue with being charged for stuff we didn't approve. ALWAYS I finally decided to call the vet around the corner from my house to compare prices and I was shocked to see what they DONT charge us for! I will never come back to this vet ever again, definitely not going to miss the 1hr drive either! This place is a Big rip off. Please do your homework people! you should not have to p... read more
I only gave them 2 stars due to the groomer does good on my American Eskimo. When I went to pay the bill they charge me for a full exam for getting the distemper and Parvo shots. I told the front desk how come I was charge for an exam and they told me that is normal. Called a few more vets and they never heard of that. They never gave me my receipt and was very rude because I asked them why they charged me an office visit, From now on I will never be back again.
Do not make the mistake I made with my other dog that I took to the vet in pets mart. I took my 15 year old chi weenie that I inherited after both my folks passed years ago. They did a physical on him to see why he was so sluggish. Recommended blood work. Makes sense to do bloodwork in an unknown situation so I agreed to that. Only to find out the blood test and office visit was about $900. After they got the results they told me they didn't have an explanation as to his sluggishness and recommended I pay another $400 for m... read more
If it wasn't for all the staff being very friendly, this would be a 1 star review. The first time we visited with our puppy we saw Dr. Johnson and she was super great. The second time, we saw Dr. Topham, and while friendly enough and knowledgeable, he said he was going to do a fecal test to test for worms, then when they finished with that, he came out with a syringe full of liquid and said that it was was a dewormer. He said the dewormer wasn't really necessary yet, but he was going to do it to be safe. So I'm thinking "o... read more
They treated my four dogs for a few years and they weren't a bad Vet however when they quoted me $160 to euthanize one of my dogs I made some calls and found that their prices are much higher than others. I don't think Euthania should be a Profit Stream and at $160, it definitely is for them. They would be better served by charging people only for the medication which would be a nice gesture on a horrible day. In other words do it for cost. You made enough on my dogs throughout their life. You don't need to profit on their d... read more
I've taken a couple of my pets here in the last two years. They're expensive, $700 for a dental cleaning with 1 extraction, but were ok until this weekend. I have a 12 year old cattle dog with irritable bowel syndrome that has to take a prescription strength probiotic pill every morning. I called them Sunday at 9:00 am to order a refill and was told to pick it up prior to closing at 1:00. I arrived at 12:45 to be told "Oh sorry, we're out until until Thursday." Why wasn't I told this when I called several hours earlier?... read more
Dr. Anast still the best. But be forwarned: This office is very different from his old office. I miss Elsie, Brenda and all. Caution, at this office be careful and Do Not to take a toothbrush from the jar on the receptionist desk. I thought these were complimentary (sitting out on display as they with no sign) for the pets and gave it to my friend standing with me..My own dentist gives me a bag of floss, toothbrush, toothpaste etc with every visit). When I saw this jar of toothbrushes on the counter at American Pet my first ... read more
