We have always went through a local company, but recieved discount in the mail from Amerigas for first time customers. We decided to go with them as money is tight this year. We paid up front $411 for 170 gallons of propane. When delivery came to fill our tank he said he could not fill it due to a leak. Another driver came out a couple days after to repair the tank. AmeriGas is a JOKE! Over priced, NEVER is the bill right! **************** is nonexistent! ALWAYS have a charge no matter what! Have canceled my service with them now they want to charge me to come pick up their equipment! AmeriGas is a joke of a company and I tell everyone about my experience with them. Do NOT use AmeriGas for your propane needs!

This is by far the worst company and customer service I have ever interacted with. We are under the mercy of their service as this is a monopoly. I requested my delivery over 10 days ago. They gave me a delivery date window and never showed up. When I called the service desk it is all a bunch of foreigners with asian accents who do not understand what you are saying and could care less to help you either. On Sept 14, 2024 I called the local company, got a menu on VM, used prompt for gas leek on an outdoor propane grill. Response was a technician would be sent out to my residence. About 2 hours later one showed up-checked the grill found a leak and disconnected the gas line to our in ground tank. Took him ~ 5 minutes to do this. He then proceeded to check our other gas appliances, which I did not ask him to do--gas cooktop- 1 minute, dryer-2 minutes, tankless waterheaters, inground tank. First there is no AMerigas office in Watkins Glen NY they have been closed for many years. I called Friday 12/6 late 5:40p and notified them I was out of gas. I ended up calling 3 times as I was out on hold for over 25 minutes and disconnected. The representative told me we would have an emergency delivery in Saturday 12/7. Again I called 3 times, with long wait times and disconnections. They told me I would have delivery Monday AM. It’s now 12:48 and no propane. I’ve called 2 times today. I sold my home and the purchaser did not want to use AmeriGas. I used their online chat service to close my account and request a pickup of the tank. One month later, the tank is still on the property, they cannot provide a date as to when the tank can be removed. Their overall service was poor, too often I had to call and ask for a delivery, when on their auto deliver program. I should have canceled a long time ago before I moved.

Unable to get customer service. After ***** on the phone, was disconnected over and over again. They took a prepayment but began delaying service. And now am unable to contact them to refund me or deliver propane. Recommend never using this company

If I have to dig my frigging 500 gallon tank out of the ground, and switch from Amerigas, I might do it!!!! I've had a couple of issues lately, and I can't reach a customer representative that isn't from frigging India, and who I can understand!!! Please go out of business you losers!!!!

The Worst Company Ever!! I worked for a company that was sold to amerigas. Their policies lost massive amounts of customers. Managers had no ******************** experience at all, and they wouldn't listen to common sense ideas. If I had it to do over, I would have left the day ***** Gas was sold. It was one horrible experience!
