0 stars if I could..... An Amerigas propane delivery truck used my driveway that was newly asphalted as a turn around. That delivery driver ignored the yellow caution tape and drove over it, pulling up the asphalt. I have no recourse since "I am not an existing customer" - beyond upset. They wouldn't even look to see who the delivery driver would have been on the street. I stopped using their service quite a while ago, and this reconfirms the correct decision due their lack of service or care.
Amerigas...cannot speak to anyone. tried for two years to cancel my account and get tanks removed. India and Philippines seems they ordered gas for me and delivered without my consent. Told the driver I had been trying to cancel my account since 2022 and that I did not order gas.Driver too the initiative and had my tanks removed. My name is ***********************, I closed my account, in March of 2023. Amerigas insists on sending me a bill for rent on the gas tank. The gas tank in question is owned by my former landlord, *********************. Also I have not lived at this property for six months, but as I have stated this account has been closed for over a year. Find another propane supplier! ZERO stars or one is a stretch on this review. Stay clear of Amerigas... A customer for 20+ years and the last few years have been absolutely horrible! They have had a surplus of our money in the account and still jacked up our monthly payment. Shopped around and found other companies were charging close to $2 less per gallon. I had to give at least one star to create this review of AmeriGas. BEWARE: There is no physical location )(no office door to knock on) for this company. There is no phone number except for that reaching into another country. From there they make conversation as if they are going to have success in getting payment to me for the $360.20 double payment, from me to AmeriGas. 0 Stars, just like everyone else you get the run around on the phone when you can actually understand what there saying, We were with a local company who was great you call and talk to real person who lives local. (old company was ***** gas) AmeriGas bought them out. Its been a nightmare ever since. i switch companies a long time ago now my daughter is trying to get away from them as well. They are getting 1 star because I am unable to give them less. We canceled our service because their charges continue to rise. Their driver did not pick up all of their tanks when he came. I informed them that they had tanks still here and if they didn't want them we would put them in the dumpster. They choose to pick them up and charged us for a service call. I ran out of gas because I received email bills and my email was compromised so I did not receive the last 2 bills for monthly tank rental. I am on a "keep full" basis so I typically do not have to worry about running out of gas. We did run out of gas because I hadn't paid 2 months of tank rental, and I received no phone calls or text that I had overdue payments. Amerigas is the biggest rip-off, con artist company in operation. This company deserves a big fat ZERO STARS for the lack of customer service and ****************************.
