I would give them zero stars if possible and would encourage anyone who still has Amerigas as their propane provider to switch. Here are my complaints over 2 years of having them as my provider before switching. 1. They charge at least $.70 more per gallon then other providers in my area. 2. The charge $25 in extra fees on every delivery that other providers do not charge. 3. During January 2022 and January 2023 my tank got so low that they had to come out for an emergency delivery even though I was set for auto-deliveries. ... read more

Worst business I have ever encountered.Now they quoted 2000.00 to buy tank while we are still waiting on refill using 3 electric heaters to stay warm,so we won’t be empty when they finally show up and have to pay another fee.By the way,called in order when tank was at 30.Any ideas on how to get free from them.same thing happened last year.

I recently placed an order for propane with Amerigas. After waiting a full week after they said they would have it out to me, I called a call center somewhere on the other side of the world. I canceled the delivery and was told the first time that only a credit to my account could be appropriated, then got transferred to the billing department to get disconnected several times because they "couldn't hear me". Worst customer service ever - I ordered propane 2 weeks ago with a delivery date that was supposed to be LAST week - but now with a week overdue from Anmerigas delivery , I'm down to 3% gas and when I call for delivery update . with an answering service now in the Philippines - they say that they CANNOT call locally or call dispatch to see where my propane is - and this is on a PREPAID order - disgusted and frustrated and COLD

They have let me run out of propane for 4 straight years every January and usually on the coldest day. Number 5 was last night 1/21/2024. Claim their digital platform on their app here in VT. was not functioning - so why didn’t someone call?? % read 39 but ZERO on tanks. Am on Auto delivery and have a unique situation in my living space with pipes to my upstairs apt. in the ceiling of the garage below. Have to have heat so the pipes don’t burst. AmeriGas is the biggest fraudster gas company I have ever seen. We have been without gas for 3 days now. Paid the expedited fee, for no reason because it has still been 3 days. Have been made multiple promises to come fill it and then no one shows after I miss an entire day of work for no reason. I cannot wait for them to come fill this tank and I cancel my service. This company is complete trash and I am canceling my service with AmeriGas. I paid for gas to be delivered to my property on October 5, 2023. When full, the gas lasts one year for my home. I was charged $365.29. The gas lasted less than 90 days. It should also be noted that the delivery driver on Oct 5 did not leave an invoice. Further, it should be known that my last invoice dated Sept 30, 2022, the gas lasted over a year. So, I know I was not delivered the full amount of gas I paid for. This is now going on 4 separate occasions Amerigas has guaranteed a scheduled delivery date when my tank was less than 10% and never showed. I placed a will call order when the tank was at 30% (as the website recommends). I was given a SCHEDULED delivery date for two days after my inital call. It is now 2 weeks later, still no delivery. I have been a customer of Amerigas since 2000. I never has a problem until they off shored their customer service department. Now customer service is horrible and there are no local reps that you can speak to. I have been trying to get a delivery since 1/4/24. I have called numerous times and have been told that it would be delivered within 24 hours. It has not happened yet and I am at 27 % and it is cold in my state. I cannot get an accurate delivery date and have even been told that I would get a delivery before I run out.... read more
