I am a new customer and they have never delivered ******************** on time--they just keep rescheduling and delaying delivery dates. Horrible phone system with wait times around 30 minutes and often drops calls when transferring to local office.
Amrigas took over ** ******. No contact signed with them. Paid rent on tank when price 2 to 3x more than other local providers changed. Sent bill for ****** for picking up tank less than 10 miles. They received ****** dollars worth of propane. Still sent a bill.
This company scammed my elderly parents and im in the process of litigating them. They will leave you with faulty tanks and then make you pay a surcharge to correct.
Crooks! Tanks are outdated! Propane overpriced! Dont try to cancel they will deliver even if you canceled. Then when you say come pick your tank up weve done something else they will charge you $500 to pick the tank up. Absolutely craziness! How is this allowed!!
Being charged rental fee on a Amerigas propane tank that has a faulty gage and has caused us to run out of gas twice in the last 3 years. After 3 years of them saying they are going to replace it they still have not and continues to try and charge us a rental fee on a tank that has caused us to run out of gas twice and won't fix
Really a 0 star. I have now been given 3 delivery dates. I have already paid this company. Im out of gas heating with space heaters. I will now look into a lawsuit against amerigas
I am very disappointed in this company. They promised a delivery of propane yesterday after waiting almost two weeks. They did not come. Calls to the local office go unanswered. Calls to the national office are no help. They promised a delivery first thing this morning. No delivery. Promised I would get over by eight tonight. No delivery. Very sneaky, their business practices are very poor. We were cancelling our account on 12/30/2025 after 20 + years of service. We had already spoken to Amerigas about the plans. They wanted $199.00 to dispatch the truck and $399.00 to pick up the tank , so today 12/22/2025 they sent a truck and basically stole they're tank . I got no notification that they were coming and had no notice they had loaded the tank I observed them leaving my property. Very bad business, I will never use them again. I purchased a house with the Amerigas tank. Not knowing the company reputation I signed up for the service. I did run in to problems with them letting me run out after I called several times to let them know I was low and they could not come out for 3 weeks. They did not show up in the 3 weeks we were told they would come. They said no one was there which was not true.I had problems with customer service trying to charge extra fee's to come out once I ran out a month later.
