0 stars. This company is terrible to work with. We purchased a house that had a tank from Amerigas. The tank was 80 percent full, so we used the gas in the tank and then had filled the next year. The rental fee is high and the company for every little thing. It takes several hours to take care of one small problem with the company. We decided to get rid of Amerigas because of how difficult they are to work with. It took me over 2 hours to get it cancelled. WAY OVER PRICED!! Tried charging 4.50 per gallon. So I switched to a company charging only 1.79 per gallon. Amerigas took about three weeks to pick up the tank..... then they send a bill via email for 280 bucks and it just says due immediately. Terrible company, overpriced, and horrible ***************** Waited on the phone to talk to someone for an hour....

This company continues to send me bills for services when I do not have any account with AmeriGas. The company has NO CUSTOMER service you can speak with . only a third party company they hired in the Philippines and one in India that has NO authority to act for AmeriGas. You can not reach any person at the actual company EVER ! This company is to be avoided at all costs !!

You current AmeriGas customers, have you looked at your propane additional invoice charges? Haz Mat Fee, Fuel Recovery Fee, Paper Invoice Fee, State Sales Tax, City Sales Tax, Local Sales Tax. Not to mention the high price they are charging per gallon for propane. The tipping point for me was the ongoing poor customer service, mostly based overseas somewhere (Philippines) Needless to say, I have moved my propane business elsewhere (Arrow Propane) as there are options, like, free tank delivery and setup, propane delivered at ... read more

Id give it a minus if possible what a run around promised a monitor installed with becoming a customer its been months signed up 8/26/24 its now 11/14/24 and nothing they are a scam avoid this company

This company is the worst. You can never get to a supervisor to try and resolve anything. They constantly tell you they are sorry yet do nothing. I am trying to get a $910 refund and close my account with them and I have been on hold the first time was 45 minutes I hung up and called back in and got the same "I am so sorry" and put me back on hold now for ***************************************************************************************************** a a $24 dollar surcharge. Do Not use this company for propane! They are a $1.50/ gallon higher then other companies and they will gaff you to the tune of over $400 when you figure it out how much they are overcharging! **************** was rude as well! Just dont do it!

Worst service ever! They automatically enroll you in the AmeriLock program for $119. If you cancel it its $150 fee, then you have to pay $36 monthly late fees until you pay $119 for a program you dont want!! My friend owns their tank and shops around, he let me know last winter that Amerigas had their propane for less then $2/gal, I went to order propane and had to pay 3 times the amount he did cause Im in the amerilock program and they wont adjust the prices lower if it goes down.
