Their customer service is HORRIFIC! I've been a customer for 18 years. Last year, they charged me a tank rental fee on top of filling the tank. After calling and not being able to have a conversation with someone who could speak English, I emailed Amerigas twice (have not heard back). I chatted online with a representative today and advised he/she to close the account and pick up the tank. Shraddha told me there would be a $299 charge to pick the tank up. This is absurd. The WORST propane company I have ever dealt withIve been a customer with them for a couple years and it has been nothing but terrible experience. I prepay for all of my orders and they issue a expected delivery time frame..I get that but what is crazy and unprofessional is sending out a text or phone call stating my delivery will be delivered today by the end of the day, then receive a text 5 minutes later stating it will be delivered the next business day. O STARS!!!! This company is the absolutely the worst to work. Their customer service is non-existent and they do not act ethically. I would strongly recommend that you never use their service.
Havent had a tank in two years repeatedly get bills for it, have to call a ***** and wait on line for 15 to 20 minutes.. this is ridiculous!
STAY AWAY from AMERIGAS !!!! Their customer service is horrible. I rented a ********** tank from the company and the first tank that was sent had a leaky valve and gauge. I called Amerigas and someone came out and told me to use the rest of the gas and so he could repair the valve. When I used the remaining, they came out repaired the valve refilled the tank. I noticed I could still smell propane and he said its probably lingering becuase he was working on the valve. After a couple days I went back out and could smell gas. I... read more
They charge a fee for everything. Fees for dispatching a truck, a call in fee, pick up fee and customer service is a joke. You can no longer call your local office and talk to someone, all customer service is centralized at call centers where English is obviously a second language for most operators. So be prepared to overpay and wait on hold for hours to talk to someone you cant understand.
AmeriGas is the worst! Although there pricing is decent, there service is horrible! You get what you pay for. First of all there **************** oversees is a complete nightmare! You can't get clear answers and nothing resolved. Prior to getting propane delivered I have to pay upfront. I paid my delivery the nthe propane was delivered late as usual and then several weeks later I am told I have a balance due for the same exact amount of $344.96 which I already paid for the recent delivery. Still sending me bills and ******* a credit union after me... The are still trying to bill me for storing their tank for over 2 years. I left a review and finally did get them to pick up the tank that I had left messages and spoke to them with no results. They called me and said they would take care of the ***** **** but that did not happen... I will see if this one gets any results.
Nothing but liars!!!!! This company is a joke, they sure dont care to lie to you either.
