It was easy to do and my results came back pretty quick
We rescued Holly in December 2023. We were looking for a Bichon and she was from a puppy mill in Ohio. Holly is our third Bichon. The DNA test confirmed she’s 91% Bichon. Regardless of the results, she is loved beyond words. Currently, we plan to rescue another Bichon very soon.

Was very surprised to find out what my precious girl was. She is our precious mutt. It was fun to do this. It was done in such a professional way, and we were told all the way what was happening.
I can see the Pomeranian for sure…but the other two?
We rescued Shiloh when she was 10 months old, and were curious about her heritage, so we obtained a DNA kit and took/sent in her sample. We already knew that she had the breeds in her that this test proved, since her brother had already been tested and we were provided his results. They are very similar, but we received much more information with the Ancestry test than we were provided by her brother's adoptive family, such as traits, characteristics; tendencies, etc., which we find fascinating!
With our dogs health debilitating we had always expressed an interest in finding out her breed mix. We were so happy to get our report back to share the news with her and show her pics of her pet community. Some of the described traits were spot on. Very surprised to learn she was not the makeup we thought being a rescue with no background.
We are having fun learning about our dogs DNA. Both of our dogs are mixes and we were surprised with the results.
