I knew already that my dog is a golden retriever and i was hoping to find out which kind- there are 3 different types of goldens. But it only said 100% golden retriever. However, there were a lot of interesting facts about their tendencies and things. My kit was free or i probably wouldn't have wasted it on this particular dog since I already knew what she was.
We had dogs done, months apart did not submit a photo and gave a different contact with each dog.The results were exciting and spot on.One sunrise was we got them both at 8 weeks old, they are 9 years apart from a similar but not close area, and they share 39% D.n.a, we were kept in constant contact, and thank you for your professionalism we couldn't be happier
it is wonderful to know my dog"s DNA. helps me to better understand Pedro"s behavior..
This DNA test is easy to collect and to send! The hard part is waiting while they gather/analyze the DNA(patience is not part of my DNA!). Once the result are done, there is a wealth of information to learn about your dog's breed(s).
I sent you DNA on what I was told was supposed to be a wire-haired Jack Russell terrier. The results you sent were a combination of 4 other species. He doesn't look like any of them. So you results came as quite a surprise to me. Thank you for the information.
Really quick turn around. Received the results I (mostly) expected. Was surprised when the traits said no white fur present, and my dog is a pure white German shepherd! :-)
I have had Griffey for about 6 years and we were told he was shepherd/husky which was correct but we wanted to know more details and we got those here. It was so awesome seeing the percentage’s and the breeds details and dogs who have dna in common.
I did 2 DNA tests on my dog from two different companies. Both had the top 3 breeds as the same with just slight differences in percentages. Ancestry DNA results for my dog seemed quite accurate.
It was so nice to know my dog was exactly what I was told she was by the person I got her from
