From receipt of DNA kit to results, Ancestry Pet DNA kept me closely informed of progress. This was reassuring and kept us very excited for the results. Results were thorough and somewhat surprising! We have a far better understanding of our gorgeous rescue dog now.
It was pretty easy to collect the swab from my dog and send in for processing. Ancestry kept me updated along the way.

Our baby girl was rescued from a bad living experience. We were told she was a Maltese, but we could tell by looking that she was the furthest from that breed. I wanted to know her DNA and while we weren’t expecting a Chihuahua in the mix… it made sense! That blood is definitely there! We were happy to see that as expected she has some terrier and schnauzer mix. She is small, but mighty! If you were on the fence about doing this, I highly recommend that you jump off and try it.
