So thankful for this service. We rescued our little guy from the streets here in Puerto Rico. There are a tremendous amount of strays on the island. Ancestry delivered the results in a timely manner. We couls be more happier.
This is the third DNA kit I have used. The results for Ansestry and the first one were pretty identical.
We weren't surprised with the first 3 dog id's but the last 2 threw us for a loop! So glad we did this!
It took a bit longer than expected and I'm sorry but I feel they sent someone else's dna there is no way my dog looks likexany of the breeds they listed at all.
We have spent almost 6 years being clueless about Jack's breed! It's been years of calling him a mutt. His results were a surprise, but we love knowing what he is, the traits he has and dogs he shares dna with! Will do this again in the future!

We adopted our sweet (on some days - LOL) Cleo in April. I took her to the vet for her first set of shots and the vet asked what her breed was. We had no idea other than what the initial owners told us. The vet informed me that some breeds need an additional shot of the parvo vaccine. With our results from Ancestry Pet DNA, we now know that she does not need the additional shot, along with some of her behavior background patterns, size and life expectancy.
