The breed our dog was listed as at the shelter a year ago is not present in his DNA. The results helped explain his behaviors and have provided information for continued training. Ancestry DNA site has some basic information about his breeds. Did not use resources to find similar dogs in my area. Thanks

My experience with ancestry pet/dna was ‘very good.
When we adopted Rory they had her under Lab/shepard mix but we knew better. I am so happy ancestry was able to help us pin point what our sweet dog was. We found put she is 59% American Pitbill, 29% American Bulldog, 8% lack and Tan Coonhound, 7% English Bulldog, and 5% Boxer. We couldn't be happier with the results!
It did take around a month for the results to come back but they updated and kept me informed. It was great to learn more about my baby.
It was a surprise. I still can't see the results in him.
The kit arrived with clear instructions. The mouth swabbing was simple and the return packaging easy. We received regular updates along the way vis email. We ate very pleased with the process.
