great!! got a bit more expensive but inflation .. excellent vegetarian dishes - would be great if they could be a bit less expensive than the meat. Papaya salad is really good!!
Food was great as was the service. The food arrived from the kitchen very quickly, perfectly cooked, nicely spiced. I have dined there at least three times this year, always good.

My first and only (for now!) experience here was phenomenal. I really adore Thai food but I was reluctant to eat here because I was bored of curries, pan-fried noodles, and fried rice. These dishes can typically be found in almost every Thai restaurant in California and I assumed that these were also the only worthwhile dishes to eat Anchalee. I was so wrong. So wrong. Anchalee is definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in Berkeley. Anchalee gets all the stars - great food, super staff, all my favorite curries, appetizers, fish, affordable wine. Thanks for feeding us all this great Thai food for all these years!

my boyfriend and i LOVE anchalee!! we got the khao soi and basil chicken wings this time and loved it. the sticky rice and sangkaya was DELICIOUS. helps that the service is quick and friendly, and there's jazz music and a calm, quiet ambiance. definitely one of the top thai places in berkeley in our book.
