Hands down the best Thai food in the Bay!! Seriously, must try! Their Pad See Ew, Yellow Chicken Curry, Crab Fried Rice and Mango Sticky Rice are all to die for! It's such a cozy family vibe! I lived close by, and my family would come to Berkeley to "visit me", but really they were just craving Anchalee, lol. It's a little pricy, but we highly recommend!

I am no expert in authenticity of Thai cuisine, but this restaurant has consistently well-prepared and tasty food. Order the samosa-like curry puffs. The pastry is flaky and one of the best things to eat ever. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and I have to admit that we haven't explored the menu much since we like ordering the same noodle dishes each time. We enjoyed this restaurant last night. It had lots of vegetarian (for our veg friends) and non vegetarian options. Off menu vegetarian lettuce wraps also available. Tasty food & awesome service! Poy was very friendly & attentive. Great find!

Anchalee is always wonderful. The ingredients seem fresh and the flavors are distinct. Lovely place!
