I read all the reviews and was hopeful that I would be treated with the same service as all those great reviews... Well I was turned away and not seen I took my sick dog in and they turned me away and said they are not taking in new customers. I guess they dont care as much as everyone who has reviewed them and posts about how great they are. If you are looking for a vet then dont bother you will be turned away.

I have always taken my fur family to this office, and have always had great experiences. Customer care and service was always great. But today I called with an emergency for my pet. As soon as I said Hi It seemed like I was being rushed to get off the phone. I said I wanted to inquire about an appointment, before I could even ask any other questions or inform the problem, I was cut off and told Not taking any new patients. Unfortunately, Yelp requires a minimum of one star, otherwise, I wish they could add negative signs as well. Ashley and Monica, the receptionist, DVM- Tammy R Mendez and Nicole the front desk staff have me in shock about what took place at the Animal Care Hospital office on North H street not long ago. Dangerous and irresponsible service! Over dosed our very small dog, then opportunistically over charged 2 more times for a crisis they created. We have made every effort to encourage them to rectify there error. We are grateful we did find a competent Vet whom was helpful, competent and caring enough to revive, stabilize her. She is recovering. This is NOT A SMALL ANIMAL VET.
