About Us In 1995, Sheri Fastenrath, DVM identified the need for an emergent care facility for owners and their pets in the Huntsville area. Unfortunately, there were not many overnight emergency options for medical treatment in the surrounding area. Very compassionate and caring people
Our Irish Wolf Hound was experiencing a turned stomach and possible bloat. We immediately jumped into the car and I called on the way there. The Dr.'s and staff were exceptional. They met us at the door and brought our baby in for an immediate assessment and it was determined she needed surgery. The Dr and staff were so great to us. They treated our baby with compassion and quick ER response. They gave us updates and after surgery/recovery followed up with us. Couldn't ask for more. I brought my dog in after a pit bull attack and they were concerned and were able to get us into our own room immediately. I appreciated the small double seat (think booth seat) so my dog could lay right near me. The tech and the doctor explained everything thoroughly and took great care of both of us.

Took our older dog “Roscoe “ to the ER. They were very compassionate and helped him with his pain. Not sure what we would of done without them. Thankful for them and especially Mary.

I took my puppy to the emergency vet on Sunday afternoon. They were extremely helpful and made sure that the puppy was well taken care of, including removal of the stick in the roof of her mouth which was very difficult to ee at first. A wonderful emergency veterinariay clinic! Thank you!

First let me say if you have an emergency need for your pet, this is the place to go!! Our French Bulldog was diagnosed with cluster seizures last year by AECC, at the age of two. We have experienced many episodes before, but knew this one was different. After several minutes of continuous hard seizing, we tried to contact our local vet, but this was a weekend. This place saved our fur baby! They were able to get her in and take care of her quickly after she ate a cat toy with a squeaker. Very professional, exceptional service. Highly recommend ! They are pricey which you'd expect from a 24 hour care clinic and totally worth it. Had we waited our baby would have needed surgery! So in the end they saved us $$$$$. Great staff, great facility.
