On October 17th I called (and joined the online cue) to get our dog seen after talking to our primary vet. I explained the situation (lethargic, low energy, not eating but drinking water. He’s an 8 month old puppy, who eats everything and anything.) We knew he had eaten something and we were concerned that it wasn’t passing and creating a blockage. We waited hours to get a call back. And hours after that to even be seen (I understand there are critical patients, but I also feel like this was critical) They insisted that it w... read more

Business response:

Hi Grace~ I'd like to thank you for the opportunity to discuss your concerns today with our Hospital Director, Medical Director, and myself. Veterinary care for a young dog can pose its challenges, but our goal is to always provide the best options available at any given time. We're glad we were able to find a solution that did not result in euthanasia and wish him a long and healthy life. Alivia Wheaton, Operations Manager

The initial call with the company was good- very thorough and had me come right in. They told me my dog was critical and were very worried she would go septic and needed to be there for 35-72 hours (within minutes of walking in) and gave me a 4k-6150 quote with a 6149.50 deposit down before the could proceed. They had no idea what was wrong with my dog. No fluids and no testing yet. I got in about 2 pm and after the initial estimate I asked for a “what needs to be done now” quote. They came back with one for $1500-$1900. WHAT... read more

We need a REAL pet emergency center on the Olympic peninsula, After 13 hours of waiting to be seen by Poulsbo emergency clinic, we were told that our pet was not “serious enough” to get on the waiting list. We raced to a different hospital where we were told that she had sepsis and would have died. This facility has no way of evaluating owner calls, only accepts veterinary referrals. My dog was drooling, panting, non responsive and laying with slowly dying eyes… and they said “not serious enough”. This is the report we got f... read more

At first I would have recommended this facility, right up until they gave my pets cremated remains to someone else🤬🤬. and then proceeded to tell me and my wife it would be a couple days until they got the remains back.😤🤯

Business response:

I cannot express how sorry we are for this mistake. We did everything we could to correct this as soon as possible, including offering to drive to and from locations to bring Zero home to you. I am glad to have met you both and had the opportunity to express our sincerest apologies. Alivia Wheaton, People and Operations Manager

Minus stars is more like it for this “ veterinary hospital”. Our experience with Animal Emergency was horrible. We are still awaiting answers weeks later while our authentic reviews keep vanishing.

This is the worst possible place and I regret taking my animal there. The vet was incompetent and my pet was not treated properly here. She suffered greatly while in their care and they keep lying about everything.

We have been trying to find out for two weeks now what happened to our dog, who shortly after being admitted, started hyperventilating. Absolutely agree with the other reviewer that they will not listen to your wishes. Michael Stone only complained of a sick dog defecating on him and her barking as part of his "consult", and removed her out of oxygen when she was oxygen dependent. Shortly after this abrupt discharge, our dog passed. Going by his and the management's demeanors, we are worried she was harmed, abused, and/ or u... read more
