This clinic lied to me all the way from the receptionists to the assistants! Dr Schulman was one of the best vets ever. I would travel from Lyons Colorado just to see him! I moved out in 2010 and returned 2014. From the time I called to make an appt. until some female vet walks in and informs me that Dr. Schuman is no longer at the clinic I had been talking to everyone that works there about David and everyone kept silent until the other vet walks in! You get what you pay for. Not the friendliest vet, and they didn't have everything I needed (shots, heartguard, etc.), but low prices on the handful of services performed. If your pet isn't spayed or neutered, skip over them because the vet will cop and attitude and recommend surgery even on a senior animal. Definitely an agenda.

We are tired of seeing animals with pyometras, mammary cancer, anal tumors, perianal hernias, prostatitis, dystocia, and testicular cancer. I have been taking my animals to Animal Health Care Specialists for a long time..I have 3 cats and 1 dog ... I had to rush my cat to the Cat Care Clinic when I noticed a lump as big as a golf ball on my cats jaw..did x-rays thought it was cancer .. got meds for 10 days..back for a second x-ray and discovered he had some bad teeth...I called Animal Health Care Specialists for a appointment and was told since I had not taken my cat in for a yearly exam he would not help him...my dog who had been in there last summer for remov... read more
Not a good experience from the beginning. My cat had a urinary infection and needed surgery which I couldn't afford. This place gave me a price for about half of the other places I had called and then tried to double the price when I arrived. They did the surgery for the first quoted price, but they never contacted me until two days later to let me know that I could pick up my cat. I have taken all four of my pets to this vet for the past year, although I never really liked Dr. Schulman as he never took much time with my pets. He always seems to be in a hurry and he is constantly yelling at his vet techs. I continued to go because the prices are reasonable. I recently switched vets only because they have decided to stop seeing patients on Saturdays and I see no reason to take unpaid time from work to go for routine visits.
